Yeah it has a more rich additive package designed for engines working hard towing/hauling molybdenum and boron are higher in addition to detergents

Read a previous deal on the 5qt where someone bought also some 1qt and looked at the label manufactured date on them and it was 5 years old. Just an fyi for anyone buying them to check

Tried the 11.65 deal and this one. They keep cancelling my order - it showed 11 in stock, another showed 14 in stock.
They just say it's discontinued and cancelled my order. Never buying anything from advanced auto parts ever! They deserve to go bankrupt.

how are those elements likely to harm a typical automobile like a V6 with the 300 horsepower ie Toyota

Same for me. Not sure why the downvotes. Maybe, it works for people in more remote/rural areas (lower population density) - but in denser areas, they just seem to cancel the orders. They went from 14 in stock to zero, apparently.

I was sold all six 1 quart bottles (5W20) manufactured on 10/07/2019 (old API Service SN). My first and last purchase at Retarded Auto Parts.
