What? I pack a 28" all the time under 50lbs which is the limit for most carriers in the US. This is for a family of four. We do two 28" bags for longer trips so I genuinely don't know what you're saying.

One can spot "incentivized reviews" from a mile away.

Hmm. This looks almost exactly the same construction as my Samsonite (which has been awesome). If you can get over the Wrangler theme, it looks like a great deal.

If you fly economy be aware that it is very easy to pack a 28" one so you will be over the check-in weight limit for most airlines. Packing loose is not a good solution: the luggage is more likely to get damaged in handling than a fully packed one.

What are you packing? The only time we ever go over 50lb is when my wife is taking a housewares, perfume, etc (or similar odd items) to her family overseas. Unless you are backing a 28" bag full of leather jackets and boots I cannot see going over that limit. And if you don't have a full bag...why are you taking a huge suitcase as opposed to traveling with a smaller one?

I often had to watch the weight limit with the 25" one I use. Observed the same with other people. Where did you get the idea that I was taking a huge suitcase when traveling?? Even when I go BC I take two medium size ones, instead of one large one.

I often had to watch my 25" one when traveling economy. Also, have observed many examples of people desperately trying to see what could be removed from the suitcase to pass the weight limit. It depends what you are packing. Books, for example.

I've seen it plenty of times too but anytime I notice people reorganizing their bags at the check in counter it appears they are taking merchandise to family or looks like they are planning to open a salon in their hotel room; hair dryer(S), countless full size hair care liquids, enough makeup to outfit a movie studio.

Perhaps I misread, I assumed when you were talking about "packing loose" you were suggesting the bag wasn't full.

Amen, that always seems to much easier from multiple standpoints.

P.S. Not judging you, just curious.
