Existing subscribers can get the phone with no plan for $399 through your account. The Pro XL is $699 right now too. You can buy a 3 month plan to become an "existing user", then after 60 days unlock the phone and use it on any network.
Unlimited plan is 40GB before heavy throttling. 10GB hotspot. For those needing less data or more hotspot, the other deals they sometimes do for 50% off the plan are better, but haven't seen one of those in a while.
Of course use a referral link to get $15 renewal credit, no brainer. You can get even more if you do multiple phones/lines and refer yourself.
Port in is required for the plan discount but NOT to get the phone for $399, even though the disclaimer says so, that's just their standard disclaimer and only applies to plans, not phones. If you don't have a number to port in, you can get one from Numberbarn, google voice, etc.
Phone is locked to Mint for 60 days. You may have luck unlocking it sooner but YMMV.
