You can grab open box with full manufacturer warranty on Amazon for like $545. I was contemplating that as well. If I didn't get such a great deal on one of these ($100 new in box someone got as a gift they didn't need) I probably would have grabbed the 910. Much better sub, more front speakers, and rears included.

My wife and I have had this for over a year and it served us very well. Paired with a Samsung Q80BD. For the q symphony.

Oh dam it sold out while I was convincing the wife to buy this. We just returned the Q6CC to Walmart. Maybe I can convince her to go up to the Q910...

I've got an LG tv (C1 OLED) - any advantage to going with an LG product over this (which seems like a good deal for Atmos at this price point)?

I would recommend against the Q910! Since you have EPP, I would advise to go for the q800D + S9500 rears (open box from BB for around 80) or the 990C (from Samsung) if you have a big room.

Not in the sound/performance department. Samsung soundbars play nicely with LG tv's. On the other hand, LG soundbars integrates fully with LG tv interface (control your soundbar settings from the tv menu) and, depnding on the model, you might be able to connect the bar to the tv wirelessly (no HDMI cable required).
