Everyone ready for another iteration of the same thing? I don't know why I do it every year, but it's been a good 4 years now where I literally can't tell the difference and just deal with a hassle of moving everything over and logging into everything for no reason.

I still haven't used any of the AI crap that came with the s24 ultra.

With how badly Samsung messed up last year with their horrible trade in values and made me leave the ecosystem for Pixel, first time in over 5+ years if they dont have a top dollar trade in on the Pixel Pro and also total price for a ultra out the door under $300 Samsung will forever be dead to me!

If phone will be for spouse, can I supply my email and mobile number and buy through my EPP plan (i.e. purchase with my Samsung account but assign phone to her at purchase, as I've done with regular / non-reservation orders in the past), or does the reservation need to be through her (non-EPP) account to begin with?

You can use your email and mobile number.
You can reserve with any email and buy for anyone. Samsung does not care .

I believe both Samsung (S23) and iPhone (13) have peaked. AI is a mute point for both devices last year and it's gradually getting more expensive. What may make it worth it for me? Return of the SD card.

Still have my S22 ultra because the trade in deals on the s23 ultra were crap... And on the s24 ultra were crap when compared to those offer back with S22.

So I'm guessing the S22 ultra will now be worth squat.

Got the S24 Ultra few months ago for $700 something before taxes with no tradin.

The S25 Ultra literally is iterative... only thing mildly i like is the 16gb ram which should have been in the S24 Ultra.

Cpu - solid upgrade if you actually will use it.
Battery - same
Charging speeds - Same slow shit
Camera - basically same, minor upgrade to superwide lens.
Screen - Same with slightly higher nits outside which is nice.
