Self emptying or bust!
2100 pa suction power vs 5500 pa suction power
"I will sell whatever I make money from" company vs a Robot vacuum company
I've been using roborock q5 pro since October. Originally bought from their ebay store as a refurb unit with 2 yr warranty, but it looked brand new and does an amazing job.

Pros:

Great suction (5500 pa) for both carpets and hard floors.
Duo rollers keep hair tangling to absolute minimum.
Removable dustbin is large enough and convenient to empty (no auto empty).
LiDAR mapping is amazing. Multiple floor maps can be saved. It navigates obstacles (e.g. fuirniture, etc) well.
Good battery capacity: a 45 minute cleaning job consumes 16% battery
App is easy to use. No-go zones and virtual walls are easy to add. Can be connected to google assistant or alexa, but I haven't tried connecting yet.

Cons:

Limited mopping function. Drags a wet pad across the house. Does not height adjust based on floor. So I don't use mopping on this unit.
No auto empty for those wanting this feature.

I was looking at robot vacs around Black Friday and I believe this is the one with the best bang for your buck. Waiting for more comments to confirm.

I got this model but without the mop function, with the self-emptying, and no regrets - run it every night and picks up the dog hair.
What model # is it? I don't see myself using the mop function.

What dustbin bags are you buying? Are there cheaper knock off brands?

this thing is better suited as a vacuum-only. the mop functionality is quite limited, it's just dragging a wet rag across the floor.
that being said, if your primary interest is in vacuuming only and you don't require the self-emptying function, this bot is essentially top of the line functionality-wise for ridiculously cheap.

I bought one on Black Friday and it has been great so far I only had one issue where something got stuck in it that prevented it from vacuuming properly, but that's more my fault than anything. The mop function would probably be useless for most people, it's the equivalent of using a swifter wet mop and won't do much outside of light maintenance.

It doesn't have obstacle avoidance. Does that mean it just rams into everything without slowing down?

Doesn't clean as thoroughly as my Neato D-series. Doesn't seem as sturdily-built either. It does move twice as fast though. The mobile app has the same stupid limitation as Neato did, that it needs a password-protected WiFi network.

It is just.... Amazing how few people on this site will not just do a 5 second Google search... Or even just clicking the link and reading a few words of the description.

Bought the $100 wyze last month since needed a vacuum on short notice. No self emptying is a semi hassle. Would it be worth spending $40 more for this?

Pfftt, it doesn't even have a robot hand to give you a low five? PASS!

But seriously, now that all the new vacuums have robot arms, I'm seeing these last generation products offered super cheap.

The real problem they need to solve IMO are carpets. Anything with the little tassels gets sucked up into these, doesn't matter the brand.
