Used the service for a while. The only value that this provides is if you do not have a public library that gives access to hoopla or libby. Because all the free books included in your subscription are also free of charge at the library on digital apps. No need to pay Amazon for what is already free. Plus there is metric ton of audio books on youtube. Yeah you get one credit each month, but really thats what you are paying for with the subscription service.

This. I did their 3 month $1 deal. Didn't use it as much as I thought I would. They don't warn you in email when you will be charged, I ha to check amazon subscriptions. They charge at like 25th of the month instead of the start of the new month which is complete bullshit. They come up with excuses if you try to get a refund even if you haven't used it in the new month. I even had trouble even with the process of canceling without a refund, I had to contact CS. I told them to just delete my account as I wouldn't be coming back and they still didn't. Unless you want the newest books as somebody else said youtube and the libby have free audio books.
