Many of these shoes are 3 years old. That's stale inventory. Considering how long these shoes have been sitting in warehouses the prices should be another 10-20% lower. The Glycerins are not even half price. Lame

If they are sitting for 3 years, the life is already reduced. The life of footwear reduces on shelf, I had one which I did not wear for few years. They started falling apart within a month of regular use. Same for wallets and belts.

I bought some altras through a deal like this and they fell apart after about 50 miles. Torn sides after 20 miles. The company does not stand by their products for warrenty if you try to hold them to it

This is mediocre at best, certainly not slick. Sizes are limited, as are the good colorways. Not to mention how old these are like others have said.

I've got quite a few Altras (last pair was about a year ago) but all the ones I've bought for my son in the past year have had delaminated soles within a couple months. He's hard on shoes, but I haven't seen such crappy manufacturing except from Under Armour, or the occasional sub-$30 Reebok (both on my "never again" list)

Agreed.

I remember getting flagship running shoes for under $40 a few years ago - those were Slickdeals.

At these prices, not slick IMO

COVID was an excuse for Fed money printing to enrich the companies closest to the printer, and then inflate the Everything Bubble, while we plebs pay for it with record inflation and continue earning wages far below the actual inflation rate.

Just a warning, I bought a pair of Ghost 15's the last time Brooks had a sale on Woot and they haven't even been shipped yet. No tracking. No updates. Just says preparing for shipment. This was 01/03 I ordered it, 10 days later still nothing happening. Ridiculous.
