It is a rebadged SRNE HYP series. I've had mine in service since last February. So far it's worked flawlessly. The included WiFi dongle is garbage (my experience). It works, but connectivity is a real pain. I now monitor using Solar Assistant.

I use it with a rack of 4 batteries; an EG4, a Vatrer, & both V1 & V2 of the Eco-Worthy batteries. I've got 2 strings of 5 panels in parallel (about 3,500W total) supplying the solar. It requires 120v from solar before it will start charging, so you'd probably want at least 4 panels in series. I've got the inverter on a 50a breaker from my main AC panel, with the inverter feeding a sub-panel that I've wired circuits to. I'm feeding a mini-split heat pump that I just installed, a circuit wired from a room added to my house in 1999, a transferred circuit that includes fridge and outlets, and others. Note that you can get 120v from a single inverter. If you want 240v, You'll have to put 2 inverters in parallel.
This battery had been discussed extensively over at diysolarforum.com. Just go there and do a forum search and you'll find the threads. Lots of info and tear down pics. Bottom line is that there are different versions of this battery and it's been a mixed bag - mostly around BMS comms issues and improper packaging resulting in shipping damage.

But EW has been taking input and rapidly improving the battery based upon the feedback from those forum users. If EW delivers on the promised improvements (not sure where they are at on this or which version they're shipping now) and keeps the price around $850 (or less), they could force the higher cost providers (EG4, etc) to reduce their pricing to stay relevant. Win win for all of us.

I was delivered two inverters separately from the two battery supplies ordered. The inverters were delivered three days before the batteries were in my case.
