Note: Once I updated my panera app, this glitch no longer worked. If you have an old version of the app, you might be able to get this. For the latest version see 3rd post in this thread.

If your Panera app has a reward "Buy one, Get one for $5! Use code: BOGO5" you might be able to glitch it and get both sandwiches for $5 each.

To Glitch:
1) Open up your Panera App (I'm on Android) and add two whole sandwiches to your shopping cart.
2) Click Redeem next to Bogo5 reward twice. It appears that nothing happens.
3) Scroll down and in the promo code section click "Add Promo" and type in bogo5
4) Check the price of sandwiches in the cart. It should say $5 for each sandwich.
5) Total price should be $10 + tax.

Since you are buying two full entrees you can also buy two discounted cookies for 1.29 each and swap out your sides to two apples or baguettes to dip into your soup/dip.

Also, they might ban for this so you might not want to do this glitch on your main account.

Are the sandwiches worth $5 each? Last time I ate at a Panera, they weren't that big.
Honestly, now days, a fast food place could raise their prices, but the BOGO deal is always going to be the best deal now. For instance, let's write that a regular sandwich used to be what? $3 each (seem reasonable to you?) Now they raise the price to $5 each. $5 is A LOT. If they have a buy one, get one free offer; you are getting each sandwich for $2.50 (back when you thought the price was reasonable). There you go. Of course, this only works if you end up getting a BOGO deal. Price is relative. Also, if you have been getting bonuses at work and raises, it should be more 1 to 1. Price will NEVER stay the same and so YOU will have to be the one to compensate.

can replicate the error in one app, but the other one for some reason cant access/generate the bogo5 reward popup. but if this somehow works for others- despite the over priced nature- this is a slick deal- if this glitch stays live somehow.. way better than the decent 5 off 10 by far. ty for the step by step list- but my data point may show for some to be ymmv for some unknown reason- but for most it should work if it populates the usual bogo5 reward to add... then add again.. hope they dont close this loop. might order for future for now(!)

I tried it on the version of the app I have and no, it does not work. The only way it would work is if it repopulates after having redeemed it once because as soon as you redeem it, it removes itself from the rewards area. It must have been something on the old version. Funny enough, Panera is going to have to somehow inactivate the older app from working because MANY people are or have been taking advantage of that. You think the abusers are going to uninstall it themselves if they do not have to? I would not.
Edit: It does work. Read on my recent post, sorted by newest. You have to access the offer from the three line (home screen of Panera on the app). What it will state though is how much it had taken off. For instance, if I order a sandwich for $7.49, it will show it as -$2.49 -$2.49.

This sometimes happens to me. I have a feeling they have a way of detecting multiple accounts. Not sure if they are tacking IP address or browsers. All my rewards disappeared on one my accounts and the number is 0 for the next reward so I know something is up.
If they were that intelligent, then they would not have made an old version of an app that has glitches.

Couldn't get it to work. I see the offer on the bell icon and added the code but there's nothing anywhere else on it so it just took off $5 for me.
Then go with the $5 off $10. You would still be getting something for $5. The cheapest sandwiches in my area are $7 and some change. All this glitch would have done was given me 2 sandwiches for $5+. Now, if I bought one sandwich (which I could do without the glitch), I would be getting it for under $5, which is still a good deal.

In the latest version they patched the glitch in most places, but they forgot to patch it in REWARDS & OFFERS in left menu. Apply the reward twice from there.

I'm on android, I dunno if iOS versions are different and can't test them since I don't have an iPhone.

Might still be working in the latest version

1) After adding two sandwiches, go back to main menu. To the left of "Good Evening, " Your Name click on the 3 line button. Menu pops up
2) Click on REWARDS & OFFERS above SIP CLUB and below FIND A CAFE
3) In your offers click Redeem twice next to "Buy one, Get one for $5! Use code Bogo5"
4) Go back to the cart and it should say $5 for each sandwich $10 + tax total.
Everyone, please tell us which app version you are on for a reference point.
I am on Version 4.94.1 Using this method it says no rewards available, and at the bottom, a popup message: Sorry we're having trouble accessing your rewards try again later.

But from the main page I can add the BOGO5 reward. I have no idea if I have the latest version. Android Play Store just says "Open" not "Update" for the Panera app, so I figure I am on the latest version. But sometimes this id not true and you'd have to uninstall/reinstall to get a newer version of an app.

Yes. Fine print for BOGO5 says two full Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, or Macs. You should be able to mix and match. But I would test it first and make sure you can get it to work with two sandwiches.

It still works. I missed a step that was not clarified. After adding both I clicked on the bogo $5 offer at the top of the cart page. It would not allow me to put in a coupon code and have the offer. What you have to do it go back to the main menu with the 3 line and there is a line that says offers and rewards. Click that and select the BOGO $5 and go back to cart and both sandwiches are $5 each. Hope this helps.

iOS v.5.9.6 - worked for me today using bogo5 typed in promo then re-accessing the cart from Rewards and Promos to redeem the reward.
