I don't own this particular Moen, but on the ones I have, they put a water restriction thing on which can easily be removed with a needle nose plyers or popped out with a flathead screwdriver. I've done it on all of mine and it greatly increases the water pressure

In this particular moen set, the screen and the flow restrictor are in the diverter assembly. For some reason it was extremely difficult to remove the screen to get to the flow restrictor without breaking it, so I gave up.

But I presume you could just get a third party diverter to use with the handheld and the sprinkler.
