VPN is not like having a second ISP. Most reputable VPN providers do not store any activity data (NORDVPN included). It's for anonymous browsing. Protecting your data when on public wifi that is potentially sniffable. Bypassing country restrictions for a number of use cases. And more.

Thanks OP, this worked great to extend both my NordVPN and O365 subscription!
VPN for most people is just like paying to have a 2nd ISP....all your traffic still funneled through a server where it can be tracked...unless you're trying to solve some specific problem, I really don't see the benefit.
