They get deleted because SD needs to please their sponsors/advertisers. They don't let deals from competition.

I think one use case is if you do not pay for cloud storage and only stored on memory card, the device could be ripped off by bad actors and your recordings will no longer be accessible.

With the home base, the recordings will be stored off the recording device and still be accessible even if the recording device is removed.
Thanks!

Feb 2. In-app purchase price is $99 when you clip the coupon. Plus $21.41 cash back offer on H for me. I clipped that offer from the laptop, took a screenshot then checked out from the app.

i think there is an internet website where you can search for and find deals for a product like this. i think it's called "slackdeals.net" or something like that? Wink

$78.58 for me on Feb 01 after $21.41 CB. YMMV but keep checking the Eufy app for the $99 offer which repeats with regularity. The $21.41 CB was an offer from "H" like "money" on Eufy.com which has higher prices. Had to email them screenshots since CB won't automatically apply when checking out on the Eufy app. Shipping took 7 days.

Homebase 3 seems essential for those select eufy products that work with it. I would prefer to avoid doing business with Anker-eufy due to their deceptive marketing, intentionally confusing model names, crappy app and lack of documentation or warranty. Hard to match pricing and features however. Welcoming suggestions on alternatives for fast off-premise alerts and live view. Not using for security as we have already experienced wi-fi jamming on Arlo and Blink.
