I'm not familiar with them, are you?
They seem like a big ebay seller. and they've been posted multiple times on forums lately ..
1. "Open box" is a broad category
2. TBD on that warranty
headline reads 1 year, but description reads
"For functionality, this item comes with a 60 day warranty from the date of delivery. If a problem occurs, please contact us with a detailed description of the issue so we can assist you. If we are unable to assist, we will issue an RMA form, and in some cases a prepaid label to have the item sent back for a replacement. If a replacement is needed, the same model will be sent."
so...maybe just 60 days? and maybe you pay for shipping.

He probably included tax
GoPro 11, 210 in Oregon = no sales tax
GoPro 13, 250 in Nevada = $20 sales tax
Resold it for $200 to a friend.
How many happy hour beers did I miss out on ?

Still not $70 you are down $80 for that upgrade.
I hadn't upgraded by GoPro since like the 4 and planned to use it for skiing & kayaking.
I assumed GoPro was still top dog, but it seems DJI and insta360 have compelling options now too.

I live in Mexico half the year working in water tourism. The markup here for electronics is insane. The GoPro 11, for just the camera, is still $300 here. I hooked dude up!

If you are already on the gopro ecosystem and familiar with their stuff, this isn't a bad choice for the money. That said, if you are willing to spend more I'd go with the dji osimo action 5 over this for better low light performance and imo more intuitive controls.

No they're not. There are an infinite number of videos and reviews all paid by dji or insta, to tell you they're better and none of them are honest. The only disadvantage that gopro has is night and low light video which if you're into action cameras, you wouldn't want one for night anyway. With good light, GoPro has the upper hand in terms of image quality and dynamic range.

I've had every generation since the GoPro 11, just sold a 12 yesterday, and still have the 13. The price is good, but I wouldn't be surprised if we see it at $250 more often going forward (at launch, it was $250 directly from GoPro). I still find it the best action cam. You'll find plenty of reviews on YouTube discussing whether or not the DJI is better, particularly in low-light conditions—I think most of them are paid reviews. With the right settings (ISO), the GoPro does alright.
What's really neat about GoPro is the availability of cheap accessories. Check Temu or your preferred shop. I really like GoPro, probably because they're conflict-zone proven. But it's true—they've stopped innovating. It's the same image sensor for three generations now. The proceeds from the sale of my GoPro 12 are also going toward a Pocket 3.
