The 10% promo must be targeted because I'm not seeing it.

I don't want to pour salt in the wound but, the snapshot I took of the 10% promo was taken after I already placed my order. So I am getting multiple codes. Yeah, Amazon is jacked up.

there's a teaser page on their official website if you google "Flint 3 (GL-BE9300)".

Amazon often allow multiple purchases with these percentage off codes. In those cases usually max of 3 or 4 uses.

I want to put wireguard on this and plug it in at my cube at work. World large corporate environments typically block that?
Yes, it typically wouldn't work.

This is a good way to get in serious trouble. You'd be joining an unauthorized device directly to the internal company network. There's a good chance it wouldn't work at all if your company blocks unregistered MAC addresses, etc.

It may support changing MAC addresses natively and spoofing with a switch is more difficult because each network port has its own MAC address. This should go without saying, but attempting to MAC spoof without prior authorization on your work network is a surefire way to get into hot water and I have to question the purpose of trying.

I've seen the $25 coupon for several days. No 10% coupon though.

Saw it on Ali for $75, Australian (ships from US) and UK (ships from China) versions. Any thoughts?

What are other uses for this router besides OpenVPN and remote access. Was about to set up a box for all this, but this has router has piqued my interest.

Agree with others that this would be a massive no-no on most corporate networks.

Many years ago when I worked at a large company I did once create a tunnel to my home network from work, so that I could work from home, in the evening. Because the official VPN was being exceptionally glitchy. At no time was I under the illusion that what I was doing was a not a serious breach of security policy. I took my chances knowing that what I was doing was wrong and I could be fired immediately if caught.

Luckily for me, I did not get caught. And I now work at a much smaller company where I make the rules and implement them.

And even at this small company, if I saw something like device this on your desk, unsanctioned, and you did not have a very legitimate reason for it, I'll walk you out the door myself.
