Got one, thanks OP. Went to BB to look and this model was much nicer than some of the other sub $500 laptops on display from HP and Lenovo. Screen isn't great but you can't win 'em all, I guess. $254 is a smoking price.

For whatever reason Dell has decided to equip this laptop with a 15-year old HDMI 1.4 instead of industry standard 2.0 or the newest 2.1. Very strange design choice considering the USB-C ports are DP 1.4 capable

got my open box excellent machine delivered today and i dont see any difference between the new one which i picked up from store vs this one. Glad i caught it with shipping option. I can use the savings on RAM upgrade now Smilie

I had an open box, excellent condition, in my shopping cart last night @$253 (Frisco, TX). I checked today, and it was back up to $333. I was not completely sold anyway, so the price increase made the decision for me.

Got mine today too, excellent open box, can't see a scratch on it. Power brick/cord were just wound up and not neatly packed, but oh well. I hope my wife loves it Smilie

Anyone noticing heavy screen bleeding on these panels ? It's noticeable with full brightness with black background .. not really annoying with white background but anything with full dark or black , it's very noticeable

I got it from store new - like the size 14" little heavier imo. Charging is through usb-c. Dose the daily job.
Now a days most of laptop comes only usbc, this has hdmi too which is + .

But the Bestbuy trade-in old laptop is really useless - i was hoping to give my 4 year old laptop i was quoted no value

Not on mine. Just picked up an excellent open box last night - screen is nice enough and uniform lighting with no bleeding.

The TEAMGROUP DDR5 referenced earlier in the thread. Install took 5 mins and it's showing 24GB and working great.
