50% off $10 is basically bringing the price down to what the food is actually worth.

It only worked for me by putting a space at the end of the code. Ordered on website with drive thru pickup.

It might be already dead. I added to cart and tried the code and it worked but I changed the cart and now it's saying invalid code.
Worked today on the website only.

i was encountering that on one web browser. adding a space to the end of the promo code eliminated the grayed out condition, and i was able to apply the code (removing the space before doing so, in case it mattered).
It worked for me online. The best pick for me for this would be Half Grilled Cheese and Half Tomato Basil BLT because the prices in my area would be $4.89 and $5.29, respectively. They also have the highest caloric values for items of those prices. That was for the YP2 selections though. There could be a better deal with the value duets.
Edit: The best calories for price for the value duets would be, in my area, the $6.99 Mediterranean Veggie and Creamy Tomato Soup and the Turkey and Cheddar sandwich and Cream of Chicken and Wild Rice Soup.
Edit Edit: The best items for breakfast (although I think the bakery still remains open and options available, unless they state a specific time like not available until 10:00a.m.) are the kitchen sink cookie, cinnamon crunch bagel, and blueberry muffin. I had analyzed this from the roi on the highest calorie for the price and then down to the price to get it to be just over $10. In my area, this would total the subtotal to around $10.17.

In this case where the sips club free trial is over and no longer available, what I do is set a birthday up to get a free pastry and pick the highest value pastry which is the Kitchen Sink Cookie $4.99 and use that to count towards the $10 min. I've been having some trouble lately where I haven't been receiving the birthday pastry. It used to be around 3 days a part from the account creation but now I'm having trouble
Thank you for the suggestion. I have a couple of accounts which still have the free trial. Will try the birthday trick. What do you get with this 5/10 promo? There is nothing close to $5 other than pastries and drinks...

I really question whether people on this site actually read through posts. If you look two posts down, there are some suggestions. I have analyzed items for breakfast (mostly bakery items that are also open during breakfast hours) and for lunch and dinner: the pick 2 menu and the value duets. If you are able to find something better, let the community know.

Their breakfast entrees are usually $5-$6 but gotta get it before 10:30am/11am on weekends.

You could buy their bread with lots of slices and make your own sandwiches at home.
Tomato Basil Bread $5.49
Country Rustic Sourdough $7.79
Classic White Miche $7.79 - this one is soft and fluffy but costs more.

Or make your own breadbowl soups at home
Sourdough Bread Bowl $2.09
Sourdough Bread Bowl 2-Pack $4.39

I have not read through the entire thread so I must have missed those suggestions. It looks like prices of most items in my area are much higher.

Thank you for suggestions. Did not think about the breakfast entrees. I can do a pick up order at 11 on the weekend and they usually hold it for one hour or so. I like Classic white Miche bread. I do not mind paying a few dollars for it. I try to keep my OOP as low as possinle, which is a challenging at Panera.

Still working on the website, can't see it on fp anymore so just wanted to report it's still a go.

No promo, no purchase. Tell Panera no.

panera is becoming far too expensive for a soup shop …. a bowl of soup, a smoothie & a chipper cookie = $20 😂

It is not that it is expensive, it is that YOUR choices are making it expensive. For instance, someone could go to McDonald's and order a BIg Mac, large drink, and large fries. Of course that is going to be expensive. Order an extra small Sprite for $1, cut out the fries, and buy a hamburger and chances are you would be within your hourly wage budget (basically, how much can one hour of your wage, pay for the meal you want, for reference $7.25/hr. means max you are to spend $2.90).

So I guess I hit my first tier of rewards by making a second visit and it has me pick from $2 off sandwich, free bagel, or $2 off soup? I wonder how I can slick this. I am thinking to calculate the items with the $2 off and compare to the value of the free bagel (price for the calorie).

Edit: I did an analysis and this is what I found:
The $2 off sandwich will get you at max a sandwich with 810 calories priced at my area for $6.99 (asiago sausage and egg sandwich) . Now after taking the $2 off, the deal becomes better.
The $2 off soup will get you 370 calories (creamy tomato soup) priced at my area for $7.99. Taking off the $2, the deal becomes better.
Finally, the bagel deal will give one a free bagel. All are priced at $1.89 in my area. That means a free 430 calories.
Needless to state, I am going with the free bagel.

I had a free pastry reward but it only took 2.03 off for a brownie after I used the 5off coupon
