Can someone please share if he/she has spent any of them online? As my experience from November 2023 to February 2024, Vanilla Visa stopped accepting it online due to massive fraud though their online registration site still said online or in-store. I called their customer service 3 times in February 2024 and was told that Vanilla Visa can only be used in store. I would greatly appreciate if anyone has any update to this.

I am not sure if they can be used in Paypal as I have not tried. But I have used other prepaid credit cards in Paypal such as the ones from giftcardmall.com. If they can be used in Paypal, sometimes Paypal will allow you to split your payment to 2 different credit cards (perhaps merchant dependent) - which makes it easy to pay a large amount partially using these prepaid cards. It also makes it easy to use up all funds.
One caution when using prepaid cards in Paypal: Some merchants, such as QVC and HSN, always categorize your payment as recurring payment even it is just a one-time purchase. Since Paypal does not allow prepaid cards for recurring payment, it would quietly change your funding source to your bank account instead of simply declining your payment. You won't know the funding source has been changed until you look at the Paypal activity later. This has happened to me recently on my purchase at QVC using a prepaid credit card through Paypal. It created a huge mess because I did not have enough balance in my bank account to cover the purchase amount. Just FYI.
