Warning: Recently BambuLab is pushing people away from 3rd party software to their Bambu Connect.

I already have a Klipper printer and just want better print quality w/ easy to use features, so I would give Bambu lab a try. But if you have concerns about them, there are other options. Just saying.

Shows sold out for me.
I have an A1 and A1 mini, they haven't pushed updates out for those, only the x1 series.
As for the updates of recent, you can cut it off from the internet at the router and keep it in lan mode, but you do lose remote connections and the use of the handy app.

I like my P1S, but I'm not buying another Bambu product until we see exactly how their current user-hostile shenanigans shake out. They crossed a line this time then tried to backtrack and gaslight everyone into thinking the concern is completely unwarranted.

Good printers that are future cooked, major community support dropping becuz of their lockdown push so even as a Bambu Lab fan boy, I'd still say avoid unless they eventually come to their senses. Flew to close to the sun and burned themselves....shame

Not only is the news bad… but also makes me realize there are some complicated tools folks are using just to make the printer work as they want it to now… seems like a steep learning curve. Making me not want to purchase it even without this news.
