Bummer. The little stick one with controls on the remote is great to throw in your bag for hotel rooms

These aren't even worth $5. Slow, clunky, terrible wifi range and the remote can't control tv volume. the streaming sticks are well worth the price difference.

source: I'm a huge Roku fan. I have 3 ultras, 2 Roku TV's and a streaming stick currently in action with a bunch of older hardware (including the express) in reserve.

On top of that, I'd avoid anything that doesn't come with a rechargeable remote.
I could go either way as long as it's one of the voice remotes then I'm fine with changing batteries every month.

I'm sure it's been this price for a long time. Even Amazon has express for 17.99. Better to wait for the Roku stick to go on sale for 29 or less. You'll want those volume buttons.

I have two of these sitting in my nightstand. It's really inconvenient without volume control on the remote.

I have a few of these as backups. One of my sticks went out and I replaced it with one of these I purchased a few years ago my Walmart marked them down to $10. The remote I used with my stick worked with this so I can control my TV as well as this.

I bought one of these recently to replace an old one that failed. It works just fine for a secondary or seldom used TV, in our case, a small floater TV we let the kids use in their rooms when they're sick. Oddly it requires you to create a Roku account and enter a credit card to set it up, but then you can just remove the credit card afterwards.

Just be aware that speed wise you get what you pay for. Just going from my Ultra to my Ultra LT is definitely slower and can't imagine how these sticks are.
