You'll need to pay for shipping or find a store, and some people are really picky about the folding prongs, which that doesn't have. There's also the fact that Anker has a reputation for quality and safety whereas who knows what you're getting with that charger. It's probably fine, but it's an unknown.

This checks serval boxes and is a decent value, especially since a lot of people like Anker and already have Prime.

That said, lots of places do have similarly-valued products everyday. You just may have to wait for a sale, bring shipping costs down, or truck yourself to a store.

E.g.
IKEA has good a couple good chargers.

Monoprice, too.

The 30W is the top of the line. It's the most watts and the smallest.

This 25W is a "budget" version of the 30W. It's a little bit bigger and five fewer watts.

The 20W is an older model. Fewer watts although smaller, but the prongs don't fold.

Each model comes in its own set of colorways, although I think black and white were originally available for all.

Unless you need those five additional watts or the little bit smaller size, then this should do well.

You can buy these with color-coordinated cables, but those sets aren't on sale for some reason.

Does this charger support the PD and PPS fast charging standards that many smartphones needs for their fastest safest charging speeds?
I have one of these. It has PPS and super fast charges my Samsung phones.

20W is $7.99 at Best Buy if you're really hard up for the $2.

$5.99 open box for that one and the couple open box chargers I've gotten from Best Buy have basically looked new

Ankerr makes quality stuff and they stand behind their products. If you have an a Samsung s21 through s25, I believe they all max out at 25 watts, so this is perfect for super fast charging. I don't know about the plus and ultra max inputs.
Base models top out at 25W, but the Plus and Ultra models can use 45W.

would not recommend this model over the 30W has this one only has PD 5V and 9V (ie. no 12V / 15V / 20V).

the 30W has PD 15V and 20V, as well as a larger PPS range up of 16V.

For people who don't understand what this means: I can use the 30W to power my laptop. I carry it in my pocket and can charge any device I own at the airport without having to go in my bag. Obviously 30W is a slow charge for a laptop, but it works.

Do you have any experience with the Monoprice unit? I generally don't trust most of these chargers until I hear a review from someone.

FYI I was looking at the 45W deals and came across a "Coming soon" placeholder for a new 45W nano that looks as small as the 30W ones (which I love, but take just a little too long to charge my 16" MBP). The 20 and 25s are great for phones, though.

Get the Anker Nano II 45 watt with folding plug, so you have more compatibility range from IPad to different phones. They also have a Nano II 65 watt, but that one's a bit larger with a little bit more weight.

The 45W Ace is actually probably better. It's an lower model number than the Nano II (which usually indicates lower quality), but it's newer, so it's actually more modern. The Nano II doesn't do 45W PPS, for example.

From Anker Q&A:
Quote :
The main difference between Anker 313 Charger and the 713 Charger (Nano II 45W) lies in their support for Super Fast Charge 2.0. The 313 Charger is designed for Super Fast Charge 2.0, while the 713 Charger does not offer this capability.

Exactly. My 13" Dell Latitude draws around 7W-10W when in use, and not charging (I measured it with a KillAWatt). The 30W with the ability to provide 20V and a 6ft. USB-C to USB-C is what I use for travel.

By and large I trust Monoprice. Everything I've purchased from them has been high quality, if not always "high end". That particular 45W charger I have. It's good. It's small and light. It'll charge a laptop at 45W, but my phone will only do 25W Super Fast Charging, since it doesn't support 5A current. I'd say it's a competitor to the Anker Nano II, which has the same limitation.

I can't speak for the 33W or 20W models, but I'd assume they're fine.

I've had decent luck with FiveBelow when I've bought something there in a pinch, but I'm sure quality can vary. Have an Apple Watch charger from there that I fully expected to be crap but is still working well a year later . . .

2 Pack Anker USB C Charger with USB C Cable, 20W USB C Charger Block for iPhone 16/15 and More Series, Galaxy, Pixel, iPad Pro/Air/Mini Series(2 Pack https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CPDMQ...j72WwpXMWt [amazon.com] these definitely fold. At $5 each on sales I see no compelling reason to get 25 and 30w when the time difference to charge is so minimal.
That doesn't seem to bad depending on your use case... I wanted a multi purpose charger and 20W won't cut it on my laptop. but if your looking for phone/tablet $20 for 2 chargers and 2 6ft cables seems like a decent deal.
