Looks like lowest Amazon price ever according to the Camel. These are not quite meme tool status, but there are a bunch of YouTube videos dedicated to these things. They function similarly to the overpriced $82 KTC Tools (Japan) AD101's and the just merely more expensive $36 Merry Tools (Japan) HS175C's.

UPDATE: Price dropped another $1 to $19.02... now $18.96. This is the lowest Amazon price, ever. I'm also not aware of any other retailer selling these for less.

About this item
  • Removes Many Single and DoubleConnectors Found on Many Cars, Trucks and Heavy-Duty Vehicles
  • Narrow knurled tips provide extra grip when removing connector in tight spaces.
  • The tool is 8" long and made from forged carbon steel for extra strength and durability
  • Spring in the handle for one handed use
  • Dual material grips for comfort

These tools always have great intentions and the videos show ideal use conditions. Invariably, the connectors are dust/dirt filled, in inaccessible locations, or broken and zip-tied by previous wrenchers. If they're not any of the aforementioned, usually your fingers do the trick.

But hey, thumbs up for good tools!

3rd iteration from Lisle. They just can't seem to get these right. The Japanese [amazon.com] ones are far superior

Have you used these? This specific model has only been out since September (at least on Amazon) and is a blatant copy of the Japanese models, so it seems it would work the same.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cGYn7Aa-t_c shows how it's not a blatant copy but MrSubaru liked them [youtube.com] FWIW

quite a bit different from the KTC and Merry Japanese versions. The tips are much thinner on the Japanese versions and have better access. The Lisle ones (i have all 3) all have access limitations. The Japanese ones can pretty much access any situation.
