This is the lower speed Hitron CODA modem, up to 1gig. Best price I've seen. Currently still $99.99 on Amazon.

Price is good, however "Sold and shipped by DiscountsJungle"

You can buy the item from Amazon from this seller at the same price if that's your jam.

A better modem to get is the Hitron Coda56. The Hitron Coda is NOT recommended by Xfinity but the Hitron Coda56 model is. In the past year or so Xfinity has been upgrading certain neighborhoods to their Next Gen Speed Tier. If you are in these neighborhoods the basic lowest speed is now 350-450 Mbps download speeds and the higher ones all the way up to 2 Gbps, but only if you use the "recommended" modems. Other older modems may work but not get you the full download and especially the upload speeds. I recently signed up for the $30/month basic plan and I get 470 down and 170 up with the Hitron Coda56 modem. I initially tried several other older Motorola/Arris modems which are not recommended. I could get the advertised download speeds but not the full upload speeds, which was limited to only about 25Mbs upload. I guess the older modems are no longer compatible with the newer Xfinity systems depending on your neighborhood.
Here is the current list (as of Sept 2024) of Xfinity recommended modems: https://assets.xfinity.com/assets...evices.pdf
