I bought it then and personally did not like it that much. Combat was really basic / annoying for turn based, unengaging but still managed to depend on constant time sensitive QTE events. They weren't hard but as drawn out as the encounters are you almost lose interest until the QTE's catch you off guard. Ended up quitting 1-1/2 hours in and requesting a refund.
Comedy, voice acting, writing, and world building were all very South Park and extremely well done. I felt like I was cheating myself quitting the game but knew I couldn't tolerate a game that long if it wasn't fun to actually play. I would have rathered just watch the game like a 14 hour South Park episode.

I bought Child of Light before Uplay was created, and even now I have to play it through UPlay.
