Any heather color is quite often a cotton-poly blend even when the solid color variants are 100% cotton. This is true across brands but agree it can be misleading if a garment is advertised as a cotton terry and then some of the colors are not 100% cotton.
Personally I actually prefer blends in most athletic/casual wear because they are so much less prone to shrinking under lazy washer-dryer conditions.

That's why I intentionally get extra large and then hot water wash it and high heat dry it.
I get all that material condensed consolidated into the size that I want, rendering it a high density fabric that lasts for many years to come
