  1. Retain your itemized receipt for in-restaurant transactions, or your detailed digital Order Receipt email for McDonald's mobile app transactions.
  2. Take a photo of your entire itemized McDonald's printed receipt or for in-app purchases take a screenshot of your emailed digital Order Receipt.
  3. Visit www.activaterewards.com/mcvalue, and follow the instructions to submit the image by 2/9/25.
  4. Submissions are reviewed within 2-5 business days. Once your submission has been validated, you will receive an email with a $10 Fandango Promo Code valid toward 1 admission to any movie.

I have been trying to use the promo code for an hour. They purposefully hide it.
Whenever I try to use it, they will block the purchase then show me a different checkout where Promo codes/gift cards/rewards are hidden. Tried on 3 different browsers now

No, they charge BOTH a convenience fee AND raise the price of the ticket. The tickets from AMC are 15.50, the tickets on Fandango are 16.50 AND THEN they also charge a convenience fee.

Then you are very lucky, I just checked New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Ohio, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida across AMC, Cinemark, Marcus, Regal, and Cineplex, and across 50 theaters in total every single one was more than buying direct from the app as a hidden and illegal fee.
Other commenters already told you that there was a class action against Fandango for this, yet instead of reflecting you just keep repeating "Called a convenience fee" while that was VERY clearly not what was being discussed. There are hundreds of reddit posts, over 1000 reports for class action, and again multiple people here alone who were trying to correct you.
I just checked Stone Theater Grand 14 and it is 12.25 for a ticket, while Fandango is 13.00. They are STILL adding additional fees without informing the buyer.

Again, it is the additional HIDDEN cost. Where they raise the price of the tickets and convience fees to be more than the theater.
