I would be so much more interested in this game if it had co-op multiplayer. Secret of Mana was one of my favorite games to play with my friends/siblings.

This any good. I loved Trails of Mana, but that might be Nostalgia for Seiken 3

There's a demo on the PS store. Combat seemed better than in Trials.

Oof... This was a letdown. I was a huge secret of mana fan, but this was I dunno... Pooly executed. It wasn't really fun, the voice acting was atrocious, the story line thin, and the combat repetitive. I was sorely let down, but as someone else said, maybe I'm just nostalgic and comparing it to one of my favorite games from my childhood wasn't a fair comparison.

i was gonna get this but i played the demo and it felt so....kiddy to me, the voices seemed annoyingly young, this is just my humble opinion, maybe im just an old grump, i loved the old Mana games and this game seems to have decent reviews, not a bad price.

You know who hated Trails of Manna?

The Israelites.

Yeah it's a dumb joke, but Mana jokes go back to the OG SNES era Smilie

I like the character design way better in Trials of Mana. The characters in VOM are just not appealing to me. This is baed on the demo experience. I'd give it a try if it goes on XGP. I suspect it would at some point.

I'm probably another old grump who doesn't like VoM. However for some reason I really enjoyed Trials of Mana. The character designs were much better. Strange that both came from the same developers.

I'm SoM snob too. Even got a panorama done of the tree in the intro!

Don't like when they do sales like this and make it only for 1 platform.
The Xbox version isn't on sale. While new Dragon Age is on sale for both PS5 and Xbox.
