"11000 watt"

11,000 starting, 8,500 running watts on gasoline
9,500 starting, 8,000 running watts on propane
8,400 starting, 6,800 running watts on natural gas
I got quoted close to $20k for a full Generac automatic backup system, which I thought was insane. I ended up getting a 50amp transfer switch and lockout for $600, ran a gas extension for $400, and bought the Westinghouse 9500TFc and was all in for under $2k, which was great. Two problems with that setup: the Westinghouse in incredibly loud and the THD was concerning. I figured for a backup it was fine, but when this unit went on sale on Black Friday for ~&1,800 I pulled the trigger and absolutely love it. MUCH quieter. No worries about THD issues. Very happy with the purchase. I run it entirely on that natural gas extension, so maintenance is simply changing the oil periodically.

I can't speak to the long-term reliability, but the unit seems very well built and so far has fired up perfectly every time I've turned it on. Also seems relatively easy to get into and work on if anything does come up.
This is a great price:
1. Closed frame inverter meaning better fuel efficiency, quieter, and safe for sensitive electronics
2. High power for an inverter generator
3. Tri fuel capability
4. Sams club return policy whereas most stores (HD, Lowes) don't even take returns on opened generators

Although might not be the right generator for everyone:
1. As @chuck4rooke mentioned, the sustained power outlet under your chosen fuel will be much less than 11,000 watts. If you need more power, you can get non-inverter units with more power for the same price or you can buy 2 of these to run in parallel.
2. If your intention is to run on gas or propane, you're paying a huge premium over the $900 GMiaed at sams club for only somewhat more power.

Looks like a good deal and size for a 240v generator that will do 50amps at 240v. Does anyone have any experience with this unit or genmax generators?

Great deal for an inverter gen if you absolutely need it but it's on the order of double what a traditional non inverter gen would cost.

Which one is $900 cheaper?

Link to the $900 one for comparison?
