Greentoe has been around for a long time. Not shady in the least.
Greentoe is not the seller but a middle man. They work with legit sellers to facilitate the deal. You actually get the product from different sellers depending on who accepted your offer. I bought my 82" Samsung along with a bunch of electronics in the past 5 years, and one time I had an issue with shipping GT actually took care of the issue by contacting the seller on behalf of me. I would definitely buy through them if the price is right.
i have 5 tvs from greentoe, they legit

Can't remember, does the 83" C4 have MLA?

No C4 has MLA.

Yeah how about learning why they were banned by slickdeals for over 10 years!
So what? Just because GT was banned from slickdeals equals fraud? There are countless positive experience with GT.

You can't get a primo warranty like BB and usually not the vendor's. But they have a CPS with Burn in option when you put the order or offer in. And think you can add it on with them within 30 days of order maybe as well?
Prices on those looked wild to me, it'd be more efficient to go with a g3 or g4 and get the 5yr panel warranty, plus 2nd year from your cc as a compromise. It's what I did when the g3 was 3400 and the c4 was 3200. Not sure if the g3 has dropped accordingly, but worth checking.

Either way this price on a c4 with a 2nd year cc warranty is pretty damn great. I'm not saying we won't see lower but it's a relatively small % to be saved from here, this feels like the "easy to get deal" low point.

They dropped the 5 year panel warranty after the G3 I believe. And it only covers parts, and only the panel. Good for burn in I guess. But the labor in that case would be more than cost of a warranty. And I don't see burn in being the biggest threat. Those G's are awesome though!

Only real winners on the warranties are if it's BB, or if the unit completely goes. Like surge. . .

Looking at last year's prices on the 83" C3, looks like the 83" C4 has a chance to get to about $170 cheaper in June potentially. Then you will have taxes on top, as well.
So this seems like a pretty slick deal at $2750 shipped.

They should not. That's how dealers get removed from GT.

If your West Coast, the chain Video Only will sell you an 83" C4 for $2600 right now. Unfortunately it's essentially B&M only and if your in CA, you got to pay tax, but still solid. Grabbed my 77" G1 from them in Jan 2022 for $2899, and I'm tempted to move that to another room and grab an 83" C4. Unfortunately the price for the 83 G4 is quite a jump (they quoted me 3900 on Thurs).

I agree, the 77" is a great bargain. But I've already had the 77" c8 for 6yrs and wanted to size up since we use our TV a lot. Plus if you got the money, why not? Smilie
That's basically how I feel. I originally had a 65" C7 and grabbed a 77" G1 when the C7 started to have burn-in (fortunately LG swapped that panel for me so I just put that one in my office). At the time, it was a huge jump from 77 to 83 in price, but now it's getting cheap enough where I am really tempted.

Any compelling reason for G4 over C4 at this size?
