It's a deal because 3 for $11 is cheaper than basically everywhere else. Not that hard.

I went in store to take this deal, in alabama, the Dr Pepper also had a coupon on it, and it was 3 for 10 also. Kind of wish I'd wait until Saturday

taking both of these deals equates to $21 worth of soda, for six packs. if you spend four more dollars on Saturday with the $5 off 25 coupon added to your wallet, that's $5 you get back so, free $4. of course it has to be 25 before tax, so you're still looking like 23 something dollars possibly

The way DG operates, I wouldn't be shocked if they invented a 10.5 oz can to keep this going. They're the OG masters of shrinkflation. Literally a Harvard case study.

Our one suburban location just went belly up.
Wouldn't be surprised if that translates into SD staff shilling 10.5 Oz cans so they can earn commissions

How is this a deal? They run this "sale" every month, sometimes it's 3 for $10… next week it'll be coke, then Pepsi, rinse and repeat. It's like they reuse the same advertisements every other week sheesh
3 for $10 is not a regular occurring deal except around "cookout holidays" like Memorial Day, 4th of July, etc.

It's on the front page of their weekly ad. I checked a random Orlando zip code (32828), and it shows the same ad as everywhere else. A DG account is required to get the deal, as it needs a coupon which is tied to the account.
Ty! I will give that a try.

Edit: Yep, that worked! No pickup, in store only, but it worked. Thanks again.

This is a manufacture coupon that will stack with Saturday $5 off $25. Just need to buy enough to get to $25. Could also combine with Pepsi/Lays deal. Lays is buy 2 get 2 free. You can also get additional $3 off for buying one Pepsi and Lays in same transaction.

Has anyone seen Baja blast 12 packs at their DG?

The better deal for Pepsi products for 12 packs is Family Dollar. With digital coupons in the app it comes out to $8 for three 12 packs. Plus you have to go to either Dollar General or Family Dollar on Saturday and clip the digital coupon for $5 off if you spend $25.
I think you are referring to the $2 and $4 digital coupons? But you have to spend $14+ for the $4 one so questions 1) can you combine both those coupons on pepsi products and 2) you cant just buy 3 packs, so how does the math work here?

So there are 2 coupons for Dr P products then? Is that correct?

Just make sure you actually GET the deal. DG currently has multiple class-action lawsuits (https://www.classaction.org/dolla...ve-pricing) against them for advertising one price and simply ringing up another, or their system "having a glitch" which just "happens" to omit the coupons on your account. This has happened frequently enough for the courts to conclude it's systematic abuse of consumer confidence.

Most people don't check their receipts, or, if they do, either shrug it off (typically the discrepancies are all of 50-75¢ a product, here and there) or struggle to actually deduce what they paid due to the (also court-confirmed) confusing layout of their receipts. I know that's a trivial amount, but what MAKES this a good deal is the fact they're a whopping 90¢ cheaper per 12-pack than somewhere like Target, or a whopping 9¢ a 12-pack cheaper than HyVee right now.

Not poo-pooing the deal; it's a great price given current soda prices. Think of this more as a PSA for those who don't follow legal news. Oh: and since these suits are being filed at the STATE level, your state may as yet be unimpacted (though, as a Kansas City resident, I can absolutely confirm I've caught this same behavior repeatedly in our local DG's... YMMV).

Lemme guess: you're one of those people who are all into drinking "water"?

Well, I have news for you: frogs have SEX in that stuff. Fish POOP in it. It's also the number one cause of drownings, the leading cause of homelessness in flood-prone areas, has been responsible for 19 of the 20 worst avalanches in human history, was responsible for the sinking of the Titanic, AND has been found in literally every form of cancer known to man.

At least the H2O base of soda is distilled first, and the acid content will MORE than address any remaining biological contaminants.

You are exactly right. I just bought the 3 Pepsi 12 packs and got over charged by $2. It took the $2 coupon off, but the amount it took it off of was $15 instead of $13. The receipts are horrible to try to decipher. I have had to abandon an entire cart of items at the checkout more than once before because the prices don't match the ads or the coupons aren't taken off and the employees don't care and say they can't do anything about it. DG deserves to be out of business. Will they refund you the over charge, or do you have to return everything to get your money back?

Isn't it amazing that they can sell this at this price and still make good money. $5 plus dollars of pure greed added on all the other times.
