Is it because the thing being charged is pulling a really low amount of power? On my Anker zolo battery, there's a setting you can enter that will keep it charging even with lower power draw.

Might also be a firmware update to fix it too, but all of this is conjecture

I guess I don't see the point in this if I can't wall plug something in. Limited utility in an emergency vs just using the million of batteries I have sitting around for mobile devices

Not bad, but I returned this model. It's smaller and feels more 'plasticy' in comparison to the other models and lacks the car outlet, if you care. I bought this at $99 and it's alright, lots of wasted space inside and def could have had more capacity. The c300 is good when it goes on sale from its current $200 price.

price is nice, but this battery is best for phones, tablets, led lights, but nothing heavy duty. there was a growatt deal recently that was a better value, although Anker is a more well-known brand

This is a great general purpose camping power station for weekend trips. But yeah for home emergency use, this isn't the best option.

The point of this is size. Can do phone several times and iPads a few times at the same time. Small enough to bring with you for all day portable device power.

I use it to power my laptop in remote places and it acts as a weight for my tripod laptop table

Staff has re-posted this five times now.

I have the slightly larger C300 which I bought around Black Friday (as proven by my post history). It has weird behavior problems and I don't recommend these Anker power stations. The automatic port shutoff issue can't be changed in the app. It's really strange. Google around for reviews and people complaining about ports shutting off and not being able to get them working without re-plugging or power cycling the station. You can't use this as an always-on power station because of this.

Can I use this like a battery backup? I have two mini pcs that can be powered over usb C. Was wondering if I can just leave it plugged in all the time and if the usb c ports stay active while it's plugged in.

This got me thinking. I have about 5 RPis running which I would like to integrate to a single power supply and battery backup. If this could meet the requirement, it seems like it isn't a perfect fit or is at least overkill. Someone tell me if I'm wrong. I'd also appreciate some direction. I'm thinking just a standard UPS with separate power bank is the likely way to go.
