A bag is nice, because mine has been sitting unused collecting dust. It leaked water all over the place even the relative humidity was only 60%

were you using the drain tube and bucket or bottle?
Mine was making around a liter of water every couple of days or so.

Yes, I used the drain tube to a bucket, otherwise I think the unit will stop cooling after a while. yet with the tube to the bucket I still often found the unit submerge itself in a puddle of water, so frustrating I stopped using it.
