If you have a high bar for espresso quality or milk foam then I recommend worth reading up on Reddit about these super automatic machines and what they can and can't do. Also consider trade offs to higher price point brands (e.g. kitchenaid, Jura).
Even so, for the price, convenience, ease of use, ease of maintenance, Philips lattego really shines. This would be great upgrade for anyone going from a Pods machine (keurig, nespresso), especially if you like milk based espresso drinks from time to time.
However, if what you want is a 15oz cup of joe, I think a drip coffee machine or moccamaster would be better choice than a super automatic espresso machine.
