I wish… stumbled across this on a Reddit post where the OP was an employee. Much of the ad was NBD, but thought the stick light for $14 was definitely worth posting.

I bought this 2 years ago for about $20, and I'm convinced that this might be the best stick work light of its kind.

I like this light---but I just can't bring myself to bite on one again. I picked one up a few years back, used it around the house and in the garage, it worked great--bright, good battery life, the form factor worked pretty well. Unfortunately it got knocked off a hood, hit the plastic radiator shroud, then down to the concrete garage floor--and that was the end of that light. It would power on for a couple seconds, then shut off. I put it on the charger for a while, same behavior, and eventually it died completely. Just not durable enough considering the form factor, for me

I beat mine into the ground and essentially covered half the light bar in paint. It looks like it went through a wood chipper but still works, albeit with a bit of duct tape holding it together.
