Quick review since there weren't any online:
It's pretty nice and good looking for the low cost. It will provide a little heat outdoors if you're in close proximity, but it's going to be more for ambience than heat. The 10k spec is for high setting, and most of that heat is going straight up.
Ran it on low for about an hour and a half and rough estimating I went through about half a 1lb bottle in that time. The propane bottle was cold and wet condensation was building up but bottle was not frozen like I get with the Buddy heaters.
I refill my 1lb bottles so not at all concerned about excessive propane use or running time costs after what I observed this morning.
It doesn't do well in a breeze as there is no glass surround on top like some of the more expensive models.
Because of the breeze outside today I actually ran it indoors to check it out. I had 3 different CO detectors within 5 ft and CO counts remained at 0 on all of them the entire time (I am not recommending running indoors). Indoor CO2 counts rose similar to my Big Buddy heaters.
The description and box label says it comes with a PVC cover but a cover wasn't included with mine. Instructions note that the lava rocks might explode if they get water in them and then get heated so you'll need to move it inside or figure something out to keep it out of the rain when not in use.
What I don't like: changing bottles is going to be a pain, there's no way to swap in from the sides, you have to lift the whole thing up carefully and unscrew/screw in a new bottle from the bottom being careful not to dump all of the rocks out of the open top. If you're trying to do that after it's hot that could be pretty dangerous.
Conclusion: "Hot" deal, would still buy again at this price point.
All things considered, feel pretty good about the purchase at this price point.
