Thank you for your feedback and appreciate it. Couple of questions if you don't mind:

How does it handle glare? I'm going to be mounting it in a well lit room with lots of windows but no direct sunlight to the TV.

What about viewing angles as rtings says that it's not very good when watching it from an angle? Is that true?

Did you get QNX1D or QN85D as they are very similar except feet placement?
It handles it pretty well. It has a anti glare coat that helps a lot. I'm not going to say to you man! the anti-glare coat does magic, but it helps, and a lot.

Viewing angles: I will say they are OK. Indeed, rtings provides accurate info on this; however, In my experience; which is whether sitting in front of it or 30 or 45 degrees on the side, I don't have any difficulties watching it.

Model: QN85D. That's the one I have.

I got this TV for my living room last year, and this is an honest opinion from someone who has a Sony OLEDs (A80J) and a 2021 Sony LED:

Cons:

- The OS is horrible. Please don't connect this TV directly to the internet and get an Android/Apple device to connect to this TV. It will be much better (personal preference: Amazon Fire TV with developer options activated to install multiple apps)

Pros:

- The TV picture quality it's surprisingly well when compared to an OLED. Not to another QLED, but an OLED. I compare it to the Sony A80J in my room and let me tell you, picture quality it's very close to an OLED.

- Samsung audio system integration: the Q-simphony integration with the Samsung TV is amazing.
- How fast it is: the GUI is fast when compared to the Sony Android TV UI. I like this a lot

Ports: The number of ports - when compared to a high end sony or LG - is relatively limited. However, for my needs is good enough
Do I recommend it: Yes - If you plan to put it on a well-lit room (like a living room), I extremely recommend it.
Will the quality of the content(video/audio) differ using the TV apps vs external device like Apple TV or Fire TV?

Same here. They were out of stock on the QN1XD and gave me the QN85D instead. With the deal, 10% off, and another $200 refunded for the delay, I paid $920 which included installation. Got the Q99C for $610 too and it sounds breathtaking with this TV.
Glad you got one! No sub in here. Still get texts that my Mid Dec. order is on time for March. . .
New orders showed OOS or 4 day delivery 50/50 since for my zip. And they say they are not capable of pushing orders up. . .or honoring price as they say to order at higher price if I want it in 4 days.
In reality, it's that they won't. I've seen them do it before. So why not now? I'm out

No, you are mistaken. I too saw that the delivery is earlier (in 3 days from today) for my zip code. But, once I go through with a new order, it changes the delivery to end of March. lol

I guess they don't have QNX1D anymore as they are trying to replace it with QN85D as it gets closer to the delivery, imo!

Yeah, we talked about that earlier. Couple weeks ago. And they still kept taking orders for it. And this. So by two avenues by March I'm still sol.

It's clearly not a mistake by them at this point. And they are not willing to fix it on a case by case or just first come first served, even by region, etc. etc. something. They are doing nothing, and repeating the error as you confirmed. Just a line they've crossed on this one

But, I am NOT going to blame them, yet, as when I ordered, they gave me an estimate that it will be delivered on Feb 22. OTOH, if they don't deliver on that date, I'm going to torture them as much as I can and get as much refund as possible.

With that said, this is the best deal for a 85" (mount + install too) and nothing even comes close to it. I looked at it at Costco and was totally impressed!

Qled is a fantastic tv, doesn't have the black crush like OLED. Great tv if color accuracy and picture quality are top of your list. A year ago today I bought a TCL 85" for $400 with a 5 year warranty from Sam's Club. Of course it is not the quality this one is but if you are not streaming of having HQ quality content on all the time there are much less expensive options that are not that much worse. I have a neighbor who spent 4k on a LG OLED and he watches 1080 60fps tv and movies and you really can not tell it is a very expensive tv.
Where's he getting 60fps movies/tv from? lol

Only $200 more?

QN90D is around $1,511 after trade-in + chat discount. QN85D is around $1,136 for a difference of $375.

If you include tax, the difference will be around $400.
