Regular Amazon price is 11.99 FYI. Still not a bad deal on Woot.
I've been using it since last May. It works as advertised. Total USB power output is low (17W, or 5V 3.4A total) but I rarely need more than 10W charging anyway (and my phone, tablet, USB power bank barely gets warm when charging). It is solidly built and as big as some 6-outlet power strips due to the spaced-out AC outlets. The power switch turns on/off both the AC and USB outlets.

USB ports are 5V only which is a minor plus, as I have a few dumb USB powered devices that my high power USB-PD/QC charger doesn't detect as plugged in and thus won't output any power, so I can't switch on the device (a USB fan) since that requires 5V to be present for the soft power button to work. I do use a 45W 3-port QC/PD charger which is bigger for heat dissipation and higher power output.

It's also good for places when you need AC outlets plus 1-2 low powered and/or always-on USB gadgets (security camera, Echo Dot, charging under-cabinet motion sensing LED light bars, flashlights, sonic toothbrush and oral irrigator, shaver, and a million gadgets with built-in batteries).
Got this last time, and it's ok. Does what it's supposed to. Don't recommend putting in an area your foot or a pet or something can stumble across. A few times I turned it off without knowing and almost threw out a power cord because of that..(until I tried my back up and realized that didn't work either….and looked elsewhere because thought no way I could be that unlucky). In this items defense though….there is a bright blue light when it's on, so I'm just stupid.

The biggest downside is the shared power feature in combination with the power limits associated with the USB ports. Only conisder this device for USB power if you plan to connect no more than two (2) devices or unless you clearly understand the power demands of your connected devices. In a best case you could connect two low-power USB-A devices (5V at up to 1A) and still have 7W (5V at up to 1.4A) left over for a low-power device to connect to the USB-C... though in reality the typical phone might attempt to draw 15W via USB-C (5V at up to 3A) and leave a measly 2W for the remaining two USB-A, likely never charging anything from those ports since they'd simply be switching on and off in an attempt to renegotiate power draw.

The upside to this device is really the AmazonBasics branding, which in part explains the UL-listing and other expected markings visible on the woot! and Amazon [amazon.com] listings. These simply will not be found on the various power strips normally promoted on Slickdeals.

Good luck!
Jon

I bought one of these for $5 on September 28, 2024 when posted on SlickDeals previously. It works fine.

Lame. USB-c doesn't work on Apple's MagSafe charger.
