Wasn't there recent news about cybersecurity vulnerabilities in TP-Link routers and discussions about them potentially being banned due to their use in botnets or something similar?
Beware if you have an older deco unit with parental controls if you upgrade to this unit or any other newer setup they only give you basic limited controls. They want you to now pay for the "advanced features" you had in your older deco's that were free.
I posted this when I was at the warehouse by copying text from image. I would still blame it on AI though.

Aren't non-government people already openly accessing sensitive information about everyone in the US?

I see the same price (after using coupon $15 off) at Costco Same Day via Instacart in 92029.
Plus Instacart fee and tip.

Do yourself a favor, spend a little more on Ubiquiti Unifi. ToiletPaper-Link has terrible support and the typical Chinese vulnerabilities. Generally their products don't work very well, though admittedly haven't tried this one.
Just curious, which ones did you have that didn't work well?

For those looking for difference between
AXE5400 vs AXE5300 :

AXE5400 ( XE75 pro)
The model has (1) 2.5 Gb ethernet port and (2) 1 Gb ports on each unit.

AXE5300
This model has (3) 1 Gb ports.

No other difference i see - if you are connecting using mesh no difference but if you are using wired back haul 2.5G will be relatively more reliable when u have more devices connected.

Yeah, for home use, it's rare to need more than a 1gbps backhaul, let alone most people don't have 1gig internet plan anyways. Only use case is if you are transferring a lot of files between a local storage device, then faster backhaul might save some time.

Better to just pay for what you need than to go crazy with the specs. 3 ports are more useful imo.

There are 2 AXE5400 models, AXE75 and AXE75 Pro. The XE75 Pro 1× 2.5 Gbps Port + 2× Gigabit per unit, while the XE75 (Non Pro) 3× Gigabit Ports per unit.
The 2.4Ghz speeds are slightly different between the AXE5300 and AXE5400.
AXE5300
6 GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax, HE160)
5 GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax, HE160)
2.4 GHz: 516 Mbps (802.11ax)
AXE5400
6 GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax, HE160)
5 GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax, HE160)
2.4 GHz: 574 Mbps (802.11ax)
And the XE75 may have more advanced features compared to the AXE5300,
Advanced Features:
• Reboot Schedule
• Tapo/Kasa onboarding
• IoT network & Device Isolation
• Static Routing Function
• Node/Band Connection Preference

I have the 5300. It has all of the features you mentioned above for the 5400 except the 2.4 gb port.

I had bad experience with TP-Link. I bought set of Ethernet over powerline adapters and all of them fail within 12-13 months.

I have this router and run into frustration that you cannot manually change the channels. I use a lot of zigbee devices so I wanted my 2.4ghz WiFi to broadcast on a channel that wouldn't conflict but I can't choose. All you can do is run an Optimizer feature that checks for congestion and automatically selects a channel. This did not put it on the recommended channel to avoid zigbee interference
