AXE5400 vs AXE5300 :
AXE5400 ( XE75 pro)
The model has (1) 2.5 Gb ethernet port and (2) 1 Gb ports on each unit.
AXE5300
This model has (3) 1 Gb ports.
No other difference i see - if you are connecting using mesh no difference but if you are using wired back haul 2.5G will be relatively more reliable when u have more devices connected.

This model has (3) 1 Gb ports.
No other difference i see - if you are connecting using mesh no difference but if you are using wired back haul 2.5G will be relatively more reliable when u have more devices connected.
Yeah, for home use, it's rare to need more than a 1gbps backhaul, let alone most people don't have 1gig internet plan anyways. Only use case is if you are transferring a lot of files between a local storage device, then faster backhaul might save some time.
Better to just pay for what you need than to go crazy with the specs. 3 ports are more useful imo.
The 2.4Ghz speeds are slightly different between the AXE5300 and AXE5400.

6 GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax, HE160)
5 GHz: 2402 Mbps (802.11ax, HE160)
2.4 GHz: 516 Mbps (802.11ax)
