I went to the store to take a couple in-person measurements and check out this Bosch 800 series in person. When I asked the rep how much it was on sale for because the sticker didn't match website, he rang it up and said it was on sale even more than the sticker. He checked multiple times. It came up $1007, $162 cheaper than online. The online price isn't accurate until you log in and it gives you 10% off. But the $162 savings is even taking that into consideration.
I have no idea if this is true everywhere or my local place because the local place didn't even have the correct price on top of the dishwasher.

Their adjuster will then sit on your submission for exactly 2 weeks, then will find a discrepancy in the number of the docs you submitted. The rep will not bother notifying you of any discrepancy, so it's entirely up to you go periodcially check for their messages on the tracking site. Then the adjuster will request some other odd missing document. And then he will sit on it another 2 weeks after your submission. And on and on it goes.
I am currently on a third 2-week iteration. They have a phone number you can call, but the rep you got on the phone will have no idea on your case and will recommend to follow the Adjuster prompts on the case tracking exactly.
Everyone makes garbage these days but the hope with buying Bosch is that you're rolling the dice a higher chance of long term reliability.
As a side note to address the product, just a heads up the 800 uses some crystal drying tech where the 500 series offers the auto-door pop at the end of cycle. I know people feel in various ways about either feature, but shop accordingly. A grand for the 800 with installation rebate seems like a pretty good deal.
Yep. I had a Bosch, near a major city, and I had trouble finding a repair shop within an hour that was willing to work on it. The shop that actually gave me a quote close to half the value of the dishwasher, later told me they couldn't do the work because their only certified tech had left.
It is quiet. So quiet I often forget it is running and open the door in the middle of the cycle.
It showed a E15 code one day. The local guys who sold it to her came out and charged $125 to do so. They had a few days before they could come out. I started thinking and was right that I could clear the code by killing the AC to it for 10 min or so. It worked untill they got there. Not finding a problem, nothing they can do and we were told it was outside of the warrenty period.
I youtubed E-15 and it says that the thing thinks it is leaking. I cleaned the drip tray anyway and the float sensor but it continues to happen more often than not. I put a smart plug on it so I could clear the error with out crawling under the sink.
It is quiet, but the dishwasher it replaced was 15yrs old and only was changed for the stainless look.. It runs quite long too. normal wash is 2hrs and 10min.
Great deal since my 10+ yr old Bosch just started a slow leak that was causing error 15 every few weeks.

(Note the Consumer Reports labeling - something that used to be banned but is now licensed by CR)
What that rating really means is that the Bosch excels in a LOT of categories (noise, performance in various cycles, etc.), Of course, what that is worth to you in part depends upon your use case and other personal preferences. If you're looking to learn more I'd point you to your local library's online resources to see if you can get digital access to CR archives.
None of that makes this a smoking deal, but there are surely plenty of buyers waiting to pounce on an opportunity to save even a small amount on this kind of top-tier washer.
Good luck!

I have a 6 year old 800 series. It's very quiet. Body is covered in tar based noises deadening stuff. On that there is a thick felt. Looks like it's made of recycled jeans. It washes well when it wirks but I've had issues with it. I have to pull it out once or twice a year. E15, E25 errors. It has (had? Maybe they fixed it) a design flaw with its dirty water drain path. If any debris gets stuck where it's not supposed to, the machine sensors get a false reading and it won't drain. It's also very difficult to fix when this happens as this drainage maze is a sealed plastic unit on the side of the machine.
Also, I recently replaced the soap door as the seals started to disintegrate.
That's my experience.
Installation and delivery within 20 miles is $169. I think basic installation is a simple swap from old to new. No additional plumbing and electrical work other than plugging in the electrical plug and hose. That's my assumption. However, extra charge for "install kit" is $24.98 for 8 ft hose and $20 for 4-1/4 ft electrical plug/box. Assuming this doesn't come with the dishwasher itself, hopefully covered by the install rebate.
Still not a bad deal...

When I checked inventory a few days ago, only the 300 series was available. However, they now have both models in stock.
