If you want to buy it directly from Sony, it is 15.19 through their store (Please Rewind) on eBay, BUT if you buy 2 or more, you get 15% off the order making it cheaper than this. If you just want this movie, this is certainly the better deal though.

PQ wise this is a significant upgrade vs the BR.
AQ wise it's more on paper, Atmos doesn't add much.
To be fair this movie is very dialog heavy, BR does an adequate job.

If you have the BR version, not sure it's worth the upgrade at this price imo.
If this is a must have, might be worth it.
For me I may upgrade at $8 or under, there is no hurry.

Yeah, I don't have the Bluray version but I wonder in general if its worth it to upgrade to 4k on dramas which are dialogue heavy. I'm just starting to build a physical collection and haven't had the chance to actually watch any discs so far. I mainly pick up deals trying to take advantage of temporary price reductions before I actually have my home theater set up. I appreciate your help.

Nicholson was smart but also proud so he felt he didn't do anything wrong that's why he said what he said. Brilliant movie that makes you consider the line of how far an individual is willing to go to defend their country and when you cross the line. Also Cruise was perfectly naive to the hard ships of the reality of a soldier's life on the front line and what they stand for.
