Worried about these having the issue where one earbud undervolts and then they won't charge anymore. Throw them out or try charging it manually using a bare wire directly to the board then running them through a few full drain/charge cycles... Happened to two pairs of TW4 for me and have heard many reports of the same on CX and CX Plus.

Otherwise, I love the Sennheiser true wireless line.

Senheisers for so cheap? Is this actually legit or is it some rebranded thing?

I hesitantly pulled the trigger on these a couple months ago and was pleasantly surprised. They feel pretty plastic-y and cheap (both the buds and the case) and do not have any buttons to give tactile feedback, however in terms of sound they are slightly better and more musical than my Jabra Elites. Main downside is not having multi-point connect and having to manually disconnect from one device to use another...

If you use their smart connect app you can select the device you want to use instead of disconnecting and reconnecting.

Any thoughts on the usability with Android? I used fairly cheap LG earbuds in between Pixel buds, and the thing that bothered me so much more than sound quality was how much more annoying they were to use with my phone.

Warning. Do not buy these. I bought and returned within a week. One of the earbuds would barely hold charge and would constantly drain on moderate use. And the case failed to charge it on all occasions so the battery always stayed at 10%. Unless I physically plugged the case with the buds. Junk

It's disappointing to see sennheiser made such a bad product. The design might have been fine, but it sounds like the factory could have had issues.

I still have the original pxc-550 that's still going strong after years of abuse (currently used by an 8yr old).

I have had this pair of EarFun Free 2 since 2021 and really like them. Very durable having survived several drops onto concrete and a trip or two through the laundry.

Pretty sure these are the same as the EPOS GtX I bought, which was absorbed by Seinhayser.
support was really poor. Like non existent. Drivers are a shit show. (Mine uses a separate dongle)
Pros:
- if usable with a dongle, fantastic audio quality and usable voice with no latency via PC
  • great audio
  • Comfortable (I have large ears)
  • Case holds a lot of charge
  • Earbuds a year and a half in hold about 6 hours of charge still
  • Digital surround / head turning is nice!
Cons:
  • drivers suck
  • Voice quality sucks a lot I can't use them with a conversation (I bought them to make sales calls)
  • Support is VERY bad
  • Drivers are VERY bad
  • Lots of Bluetooth issues and firmware issues discussed on forums
  • The only real fix is resetting via usb plug in over and over until it works. Took me 3 hours once.
tldr: pass unless you can get a dongle. It's not a Bluetooth dongle, and has zero latency so that's the only reason it's worth using

Searching these on Amazon, they are a "frequently returned item" with a rating of 3.8. This might be why they are so "cheap".

I hope mine work ok. I ordered these to replace my Sony's that won't hold a charge more than an hour.

Too bad on these. They don't seem to live up to expectations. Maybe the Denons that were on sale earlier are a better buy.
