Very true. Should have said that I have been waiting for quite a while to add this to my Kindle library. Have the individual paperbacks and a hardcover of all the novels together. We live in an age where we are expected to continually repurchase our media as formats change, so that is where SD comes in. 😀

Encyclopedia Galactica is a better deal. Some of the guide content is often out of date or truncated (for example Earth was recently updated from a single word entry "Harmless" to "Mostly harmless"). EG is a much more reliable and scholarly source of information overall - worth the slightly higher price imo.
