Actually nothing is needed.

Windows itself has antivirus and firewall. Just back up your computer every few months.
I reset my computers at least once a year. And it's like buying a new computer.
I've been a long time Norton user despite all the negativity towards this software. I've recently found that it really stinks. Did a scan of my kids laptop and it had over 1000 malware and dozens of viruses. Quarantined after a scan but kept reappearing after startup. Hesitant but switched to Malwarebytes. It got rid of the malware and viruses with their tools. Malwarebytes > Norton.

On Quill website and while ordering, you will see 2 QUILL.com coupons : $5 off $50, and even better $20 off $100.

So, if you are buying multiple licenses to STACK for multiple year subscription (which you can do using Norton Chat Support) you could get an even better deal.

The thing is Malwarebytes is anti-malware and not anti-virus.

From their website:

Scan and remove viruses and malware with Malwarebytes. Our software includes multiple layers of malware-crushing tech to find and remove threats like viruses, ransomware, spyware, adware, and Trojans.

The cheapest Norton 360 "premium" version (10 devices) from a reputable vendor is $25 after $5 rebate.
https://www.newegg.com/norton-360...832119004?

The one in this thread, however, is "Platinum" with a license for 20 devices for $14.99.

I just renewed my Norton for 12 months. I'll buy this and install it when my current subscription expires. Great deal.

You can call Norton or chat with Norton and they will add 365 days to whenever your current subscription expires. Double check with them before the stacking occurs.

I bought several licenses at this $14.99 price so I can stack multiple years.

Do people intentionally infect their systems with this stuff AND pay money for their suffering?
Grandma... don't do it! Norton is the thing it claims to protect you against, malicious software designed to cause financial harm to it's victims.

Gen Digital Inc. (formerly Symantec Corporation and NortonLifeLock Inc.) has almost $4B in revenue and total assets of $16B. It is a Fortune 500 company and a member of the S&P 500 stock-market index.

I've had Norton for around 20 years and in that time, I've not had a single virus.

Just saying.
