I always thought these tvs were so over priced, but once you don't have a giant black mirror dominating your living room it's pretty difficult to go back. Wish there was more competition, but Samsung must have the patents or tech to keep being the default choice here.

Although actual picture quality is that of a $400-500 TV, the matte finish does really make it great for daytime viewing in a bright room.

Very good price for new from a reputable dealer. I recommend the teak, magnetic frame. You can usually find them on eBay for about half price if you're patient.
Actually no. Electricity becomes free when you put the tv in that mode.

Agreed - they make a huge difference and depending on the lighting in your room and choice of art, it can truly look like just a picture. Good price - this is about what the first responder price was on Black Friday

Despite what that first commenter said, the LS03D, actually has pretty dang good reviews and picture quality. I don't see any $500 55" TVs scoring 7.9 on rtings.

How is the viewing angle on these? I have a Hisense 55" Class - S7 Series Canvas TV and am not impressed with the viewing angle, given that I am used to a Samsung OLED

I think it's pretty good. We have the 65" in a large living room (couches in the center) and I can see just fine from every seating position. Picked it up during the black Friday sale. The anti- glare is game changing. I'll never go back.

The anti-glare is crazy on these....makes it really look like a picture. I've thought about grabbing one for an outdoor TV (under patio cover)

TY, I think I'll wait for the 65" to go on sale, AS I was thinking that would make a difference also.

I have the 55" and regularly watch sports from 10-12 feet away at about 45 degree angle and notice no degradation
