James Hoffman has a good review of this. I'm no coffee snob, but I found his review helpful and interesting. I will be skipping this. Check it out again once gen 2 comes out.
Hope you're being ironic and not actually an idiot
Your family had a $500 per month Starbucks habit? Holy crap.

This looks nice...but I doubt it competes with most name brand super automatics. I would recommend looking into the refurbuished Gaggia Prestige from Wholelattelove for less money.

If you consider $100 costco card as cash, as it is to many of us, $429 is actually more expensive. You are recommending a refurb unit from wholelattelove for more $$$. I honestly never heard of this website. How is their return policy?

I take Brevile in a heartbeat ! you do not buy an espresso machine for the look ! especially at $500... made in chaina , since when chaina knows how to drink coffee and know what an espresso is ??? imitation does not work in the kitchen.
Ninja is an American company based in Massachusetts. Breville is an Australian company based in Sydney. And both companies manufacture in China. Neither of those countries are considered espresso capital.

I'm wondering how this machine will hold up in the long term. Can any owner chime in ?
I bought mine in early October. Still works perfectly, although we don't work it hard (4-5 drinks a week). Very happy with the machine.

Have had this machine since before Christmas 2024. It's an awesome coffee maker. We chose it because it makes espresso as well as American coffee and the milk frother or is one of the best in the business. The downside is that there are no parts or accessories available anywhere for this machine not even the cleaning tablets are in stock. Just be aware of that if you buy this. Was looking for an extra bean Hopper so that I could maintain two different types of coffee beans for different types of coffee but again none are available anywhere.

i had the breville and then I got this. My wife and I both agree on this opinion. The brevilles make much better coffee but require far more patience and work. This one you just sorta mindless grind, tamp, hit two buttons come back in a couple mins and its done. The coffe is good no great. But with multiple people using it in the morning its a slam dunk. We sold the breville and only use this now.

u can use any espresso cleaning teablets for the backflush. As for the descaling just use affresh coffee pot cleaner or vinegar (vinegar can leave a smell so we dont do that anymore).

Well you know his conclusion didn't seem too bad but his tone throughout the entire video pretty much said it did nothing great and some things bad.

Maybe I was expecting a rave review like all the others on YouTube and really had nothing bad to say.

Will this be a much cheaper substitute to get my wife off going to caribou coffee for turtle mochas? Is it extremely easy to replicate with this?

Got one, even though I shouldn't have. My BronsenKitchen does the job for me every morning without any issues.

Two lattes a day at charbucks and especially at some hipster joint with $8 (+30/45/55/don't you dare hit custom tip) lattes can easily add up to $500/month.

Is this good for a small office with about 7-8 people? How loud does it get? Can it handle multiple uses in a day almost 10-15 shots/day

Had this, it was fine. Ultimately returned it just because if you're making 2 different types of drinks, it becomes a real hassle and the time involved is unreal. Switching baskets, adjusting grind size, adjusting temps, cleaning all the stuff between drinks, just because too many features for not a lot of reward. I got a Phillips superautomatic instead and have been much happier with the quality and effortlessness of an automatic machine.

a real slickdealer type question- I use 3 scoops of grinded coffee in my frenchpress every morning to make 2 cups of coffee for my wife and I.. From a cost savings perspective, will ths machine use less coffee beans to make a cup of coffee or more coffee beans?
