there is a 3rd party product available that's much better: "SYMIK PSC (pro)" (on amazon). it's seriously awesome, it's this same bidirectional usb-c charger idea, except it goes to 100 watts both ways. it doesn't have the AC power inverter, but for me that's irrelevant (I only used it to charge laptops, and better laptops now have usb c charging, wasting a lot less power)

I'd be interested in using as a laptop charger. Having said that I can just use my portable battery stations.
use this to make use of all the batteries
(bottom of pict 'charges…at 100w')
"the charger by default is limited to 65W for longevity of your batteries"
Can i use this like plugged up into a usb c port car charger 24/7
and when the car is cut off the inverter switches to send power directly to my cell phone?
or do you have to switch it on and off for which way the power flows?
For me, during an outage my 18v batteries are used for lights and fans. This now gives me a good way to use the power stored in my 40vs.

This means Ryobi batteries are a little more expensive, but "dumb" tools (like all their blue tools that existed before lithium batteries but still use them) can't kill the batteries - Ryobi batteries will shut down to protect themselves from being overdrawn.
DeWalt/Milwaukee/Makita/etc batteries do not have such protection and can be bricked if discharged too far.
