remember this desktop has proprietary power supply, motherboard and case, so once warranty is over will become ewaste. keep that in mind and don't get mad once your PSU die along the entire desktop.
There are actually 3 PSU you can get for these
one is a 310w and there is a 400w and a 500w
you can find them on ebay with a simple search

here's a build I did with parts i found on ebay and amazon

And another one here

I did 5 of them in total. I can help you find the item numbers if you need them

Intel I5-12400 Model PC here > https://www.ebay.com/itm/16613695...media=COPY

400W PSU here > https://www.ebay.com/itm/35611223...media=COPY

310W PSU here - enough for a 1660S > https://www.ebay.com/itm/32637297...media=COPY

Note: some of the 310W PSU do not have the 6 pin for the video card. Be sure and find one that does.
There is a higher wattage on PSU from hp that fits. The hp forums have the part number.

I see 180W power supply in the specs ???
I believe that is correct. A friend of mine has basically the same model with the same CPU. I gave him a GTX 1050 TI GPU that does not require an auxiliary power connection and it works just fine. I was concerned that anemic PSU would not even be able to power it off of the motherboard, but it seems to work just fine.

This one may be a better deal. $250 with 8gb ram instead. If it's only using one slot you can add a second 8gb dimm less than $29 and it'll be better for dual channel operation compared to 8+4gb.
It's the same seller. There has been some complaints from slickdealers about them.

I regret missing out on the HP Intel deal 2 months ago! Will this be good for a NAS build?
The one for $130? I got one of those for my mother. Great deal. I upgraded the ram and added additional storage. Though it only has room for small low profile graphics cards.

Looks like Costco returns. Good price.

Two year warranty through Allstate. Any good for warranty services?
I've had bad luck with Allstate. They twisted my words and were pretty manipulative in their tactics. If you ever have a warranty claim, think through what you are going to say before calling in.

You can either buy an ATX to HP harness (google), or use a solder iron with some heatsink tube headers to patch any ATX PSU. Just make sure your new power supply fit physically.

It depends on what you mean by full size, all graphics cards are different sizes, even the same model by different board partners. You might also have to worry about the power supply in both capacity and connections as well. I would guess this will fit a smaller 3050, 3060, or 4060 card but definitely not a 4090.
Is that a yes or no?

The integrated graphics in the 5600G is remarkably capable.

Otherwise, for those considering possible GPU upgrades, potentially compatible models which come in variants without accessory power connector(s) includes:
  • RX 6400
  • GTX 1650 (select implementations)
  • RTX 3050 (2024 models)
Good luck!

This system was previously available at Costco for $369.99 plus $14.99 shipping. The thread for that offer has some good details for those considering this PC.

Good luck!

For those who want to use another graphics card, remember the Ryzen G series processors have less PCI bandwidth because of their own integrated graphics. This is a good computer for a little kid.

yeah, i think it could be better to add another 8gb stick but the 180 psu and horrible mobos make this ewaste.

Just some things I learned with the Victus models:

500w PSUs I purchased that fit $59.99: https://www.ebay.com/itm/13537638...media=COPY

I purchased the model that went in and out of stock at $200 and came with a 6400. They've since bumped the price up to $504.

You can fit many two-fan GPU models in the case. A 235mm 6650 XT fits snugly, while a 282mm 6650 XT requires extensive modifications, such as cutting the frame and removing part of the front LED-lit logo, a process that took some time.

The motherboard is proprietary, with the front USB ports soldered directly onto the board.
I went with the 6650 XT's because I already had them from upgrading my wife's and my PCs.

I believe the rear fan is a 92mm (120mm was too large), which I haven't upgraded yet. From what I recall, temperatures remained stable while running both FurMark (the "furry donut") and Prime95 simultaneously with the upgraded GPU's.

The Intel 12400 will be quite a bit faster if installing a GPU, it offers more L2 cache and 20 PCIe lanes vs 16.

This is not a gaming desktop...with that being said size wouldn't be the only thing you have to worry about. I doubt this desktop will have a power supply thats rated to power anything above a 3050 or if we're talking older generations a 1660/1650.
