Spoke with the seller, he told me his link is broken. Not sure what that means but he has it set up to auto accept at anything above $120. I told him I offered $115 and he said he would have countered at $130. I had to retract my offer and reoffer to the $120.
Been looking for a good deal on a pro-ject. Took a flyer and offered 135 and they accepted immediately.
Como Audio was founded by audio industry veteran Tom Devesto, formerly from Tivoli Audio and Cambridge Soundworks, all quality HiFi brands. The company became a victim of supply chain price spikes following the pandemic. There was nothing wrong with their products. This seems like a great deal.

An interesting find. Good features for the price (pre-amp, Bluetooth, 78rpm, nice cartridge). Physically, I don't see a resemblance to the Pro-Ject T1. I wouldn't pay $180, but it seems a good value at $140 or less.

They have them in Black and Hickory too. Make sure to test it well when you get because there will be no long-term support for it.
This looks awfully similar (but not not identical) to the Pro-Ject T1 Phono SB, in my non-expert opinion.

Hoping it's a good upgrade from my finnicky old, low-end Kenwood.

I went for the hickory model.

Offered 99 - seller countered, 140 - offered 125 - seller countered 132 - settled at that price. Seller made a note of the free shipping, which seems fair to me!
How quickly did they respond?

They have Allstate warranty too. Also what cartridge to choose in the black one they have 2 what's the difference
The Ortofon OM 10 is considered a pretty decent cartridge but not a stellar one, and is a small step up from the OM 5E. If they'll let the ones with the OM 5 go for less, it might make sense to go with that one, especially if it's a first table for someone or you plan on adding a particular cart you like anyway. Each has an elliptical stylus, and I think that line has been discontinued.

Edit: The cheaper one with the 5E looks to be slightly different, as it doesn't have the same speed selector. No idea how they differ otherwise though.

Apologies for the ignorance here, is this the same thing as a record player? They reference turn table, is this more a DJing thing or listening to records? Thanks!
It is a record player

got a second one in black for 120 offer accepted. That may be the bottom line. Figure I'll pick between the walnut and black and sell one locally, or just keep it boxed up. At that price, it's $40 more than the cost of the cartridge.

Hmm, looks like it's indeed based on the T1 but has an interesting mishmash of features from various models. The only one I see on Pro-Ject's site with the push-button speed selection is the SB, but that comes with an OM 5E not an OM 10 cartridge. This has bluetooth though, while their BT model comes with the 5E and doesn't have the push-button selector. The tonearm is unique though, and likely inferior - separate headshell, not the one-piece aluminum tonearm with integrated head shell like all the T1 and T2 models I see. Not sure about the platter, but this one doesn't look to be glass.

...I only speak party of this language. ;p

You seem to know your stuff. Is this a pretty solid deal for $120?
