Timing: IGN's Great Civilizations Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") will begin on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at approximately 12:00:01 am Pacific Time ("PT") ("Start Date") and end on Tuesday, March 3, 2025 at 11:59:59 pm PT
ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and Washington, D.C. (i.e., excluding Guam, Puerto Rico and all other U.S. territories and possessions) and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are physically located and residing therein and who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or have reached the legal age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence (each an "Entrant").
PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize will be available in the Sweepstakes, consisting of a 5-day/4-night "Trip" for the winner and one (1) guest to the winner's selection of one (1) of the following destination cities:
● Washington, D.C., United States
● Tokyo, Japan
● Madrid, Spain
● Berlin, Germany
The "Trip" will consist of the following:
a) Round-trip coach class airfare to the destination city for the winner and guest from a major airport with regularly scheduled commercial flights close to winner's permanent residence (selected at the discretion of the Sponsor). Or, in Sponsor's sole discretion, $500 in lieu of air travel if winner lives within a 200-mile radius of the destination city
Four (4) nights hotel accommodation for the winner and guest at a hotel selected by the Sponsor (one standard room, double occupancy, room & tax only);
c) Round-trip ground transportation for the winner and guest between the airport and hotel in the destination city;
d) One (1) tour or excursion in the destination city, to be selected by the Sponsor; and
e) $1000 USD spending money. Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of the Grand Prize is $8,000 USD based on sample round-trip from Toronto, Canada to Tokyo, Japan.
