Was trying to make copilot do something for me in word, totally useless, wasted hour asking, gemini did job in 1 prompt. In excel situation is better tho
Not sure to which previous deals you are refering. But the one that kept popping up last couple years, did include Nord, or ESET, etc. and worked out to `~$40/year for family.
You could buy and stack up to 5 years of personal ($40) then convert to Family for $10 (whether 1 year or 5 years).
According to the old threads you linked, it looks like it was ~$40/year for Personal, not Family. And the Nord did not include NordPass, it only included Nord VPN.
And BTW, the previous deal I was referring to in January and it did include the same Nord bundle and was $20 cheaper. That's the deal I missed. But I can't go back in time so this was still better than paying full price.

Read the thread (or even my post). $40/year for personal (you could buy/stack 5 years), then once redeemed, You paid $10 to upgrade to Family (for however long the subscription ran). I have a Family supscription good through 2029. I was actually slightly under $40/month sometimes, with a decent cashback from one of the rebate sites.
There better places to look for cloud storage these days? I primarily have 365 for the cloud storage deal, which was always pretty good compared to competitors. I guess I'd miss OneNote too, but there are alternatives for that too.

Agree, usually it used to be in range of $65 for family pack
Microsoft raised the price about $3 per month (if you get it monthly) to cover the cost of the AI Components. It is a price grab, no question - but that's the deal.
Yes the 365 subscriptions can be stacked but If I already have a Nord subscription (VPN and Nord Pass), does anyone know if the 1-Year Nord VPN Plus Bundle will also stack with my current Nord subscription?
Why tf is MS office subscription based. What happened to buying software once and owning it?
I had the same question. But after watching videos on youtube I saw the benefit and now I love it. I paid $250 for a subscription of 5 year for 6 people to 365 and we have it on our phones and laptops. The seamless integration with the included 1TB one drive storage is awesome. All my documents and files travel in real time from device to device. I used to use google docs for this but 365 is much better, specially with the 1TB. Also the AI features are not bad. Its a shame they only give you like 30 uses a month per user

AI is being shoved down our throats, sucking up power and causing those rates to rise as well.
Opt out to the classic plan while you can. Stop giving them money to fund this AI nonsense.
